Using General Pocedure E; benzyl-[1-(4-trimethylsilanylethynyl-phenyl)-cyclopropyl]-amine (Intermediate 126, 85.0 mg, 0.27 mmol) in methanol (5 mL) was treated with potassium carbonate (50.0 mg, 0.37 mmol) and stirred overnight at ambient temperature. The crude alkyne (65 mg, 100%) was used directly in the next reaction.
