A mixture of 3-(4-(4-cyano-1-methyl-1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-6-yl)-2-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy)propyl methanesulfonate (100 mg) and 4-methylpiperidin-4-ol hydrochloride (166 mg) in NMP (2 ml) was heated at 100° C. under microwave conditions for 30 minutes. The mixture was purified by HPLC to give the expected product (9.4 mg). 1H NMR (CD3OD) δ: 8.55 (s, 1H), 8.35-8.42 (m, 2H), 7.32 (d, 1H), 4.44 (s, 3H), 4.25 (t, 2H), 2.76-2.89 (m, 4H), 2.63-2.75 (m, 2H), 2.13 (quin, 2H), 1.64-1.80 (m, 4H), 1.24 (s, 3H). MS m/z 475 (M+H).
