PROCEDURE

A mixture of 114g (115 mg, 0.16 mmol) and lithium hydroxide (38 mg, 1.6 mmol) in i-propanol/THF (1:1, 4 mL) and water (1 mL) was stirred at 30° C. for 1 h. The mixture was evaporated under reduced pressure and the residue was extracted with ethyl acetate (2×10 mL). The combined ethyl acetate extract was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by reverse-phase prep-HPLC to afford 114 (45 mg, 40%) as a white solid.
