PROCEDURE

A mixture of 126a (150 mg, 0.20 mmol) and lithium hydroxide (72 mg, 3.0 mmol) in i-propanol/THF (5:3, 8.0 mL) and water (2.0 mL) was stirred at 30° C. for 1 h. The mixture was evaporated under reduced pressure and the residue was extracted with ethyl acetate (2×20 mL). The combined ethyl acetate extract was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by prep-HPLC to afford 126 (45 mg, 33%) as a white solid.
