Procedure

A solution of 30 wt % methylamine (7 mL) in MeOH and 4-oxo-N-(pyridin-2-yl)-2-(2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-4H-benzo[d][1,3]oxazine-8-carboxamide 25 (90 mg, 0.22 mmol) was heated under gentle reflux for 1 h then cooled to room temperature. The resulting precipitate was collected by filtration, rinsed with H2O, and dried under vacuum to give Compound 212 (20 mg, 22% yield) as a white solid. MS (ESI) calc. for C22H15F3N4O2: 424.11. found: 425 [M+H].
