Reaction Steps

The product of step 1 (136 mg) was dissolved in a solution of HCl in dioxane (1.5 mL). The mixture was stirred for 3 hours at room temperature. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the crude product was used in the next step. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ (ppm) 5.69-5.62 (m, 1H), 5.41 (d, 1H), 5.26 (d, 1H), 5.23 (s, 1H), 5.21 (s, 1H), 2.77-2.72 (m, 1H), 2.02-1.98 (m, 1H), 1.95 (s, 3H), 1.93-1.84 (m, 2H), 1.74-1.69 (m, 1H), 1.17-1.06 (m, 2H).
