TFA (5 ml) was added to the solution of the product of Step 1 (0.63 g) in dichloromethane (5 ml) at 0° C. The reaction was allowed to warm to room temperature and was stirred for 1.5 hour. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure to give the desired product (0.426 g) as a light brown oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ (ppm) 6.80-6.21 (m, 2H), 3.75 (s, 2H), 3.66-3.64 (m, 2H), 3.56-3.53 (m, 2H), 3.36 (s, 3H), 1.42-1.39 (m, 2H), 0.91-0.89 (m, 2H)
