Using analogous reagents and reaction conditions as described in Example 1 above, 1-(2-chloro-pyridin-4-yl)-imidazolidin-2-one (I-33b: 100 mg, 0.5076 mmol) was reacted with 1-(3-bromo-pyridin-4-yl)-cyclobutanol (I-33c: 127 mg, 0.5583 mmol) copper iodide (9.6 mg, 0.0507 mmol), trans-N,N′-dimethylcyclohexane-1,2-diamine (21 mg, 0.1522 mmol), potassium phosphate (269 mg, 1.269 mmol) and 1,4-dioxane (3 mL) to afford crude product. Purification by column chromatography on silica gel (2% methanol in CHCl3), followed by preparative HPLC afforded 25 mg of pure product (14% yield)
