Prepared from 2.00 g (5.81 mmol) of methyl 3-bromo-1-(phenylsulfonyl)-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate and 2.82 g (17.41 mmol) of 3,5-dichloroaniline following the experimental procedure described in Preparation 44a. The product was purified by flash chromatography (0% to 40% hexane/AcOEt) to give 2.64 g (96% yield) of the title compound as a beige solid.
