Reaction Steps
To the solution of (4S,5R)-5-[4-(6-Cyano-pyridin-3-yl) -phenyl]-4-fluoromethyl-2,2-dimethyl-oxazolidine-3-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (0.3 g, 0.729 mmol) in methanol (3 mL) is added KOH (0.409 g, 7.29 mmol) at room temperature.
