Prepared analogously to Example 5e) from (R)-N5 -[amino(nitroimino)methyl]-N2 -(tert.-butoxycarbonyl)-N-[[4-(1-oxoethyl)-phenyl]methyl]-ornithinamide by treating with trifluoroacetic acid in dichloromethane. The salt thus obtained was dissolved in water, this solution was made ammoniacal and the desired base was finally precipitated from the aqueous solution by saturating with common salt. The product obtained was dried in vacuo in diphosphorus pentoxide and used in the following stage without any further purification.
