Procedure

To a solution of 1,1-dimethylethyl {(1R)-1-methyl-1-[({2-[(4-methyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-chromen-5-yl)oxy]-5-pyrimidinyl}amino)carbonyl]propyl}carbamate (Intermediate 218, 100 mg, 0.219 mmol) in dry Dichloromethane (5 mL), cooled to 0° C., TFA (1 mL, 12.98 mmol) was added dropwise. The reaction mixture was stirred at that temperature for 3 hours, then it was allowed to reach the room temperature and stirred at that temperature for 2 hours. Volatiles were evaporated and the residue was diluted with DCM (10 mL) and washed with an aqueous saturated solution of NaHCO3 (10 mL). The organic layer was separated, dried (Na2SO4), filtered and evaporated to afford the title compound (78 mg) as white solid that was used in the next step without further purification.
