Procedure

A mixture of (R)-tert-butyl 3-(cyclopentylamino)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (200 mg, 0.78 mmol), 3-bromo-1-propyne (140 mg, 1.18 mmol) and K2CO3 (217 mg, 1.57 mmol) in acetonitrile (3 mL) was stirred at reflux for overnight. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by chromatography on silica gel (PE/EtOAc=4:1) to give the title compound. MS (m/z): 293 (M+H)+.
