8-Cyclopropyl-6-methoxy-4-[4-(2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl)piperidin-1-yl]pteridin-7(8H)-one was prepared in the same manner as 8-methyl-6-methoxy-4-[4-(2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl)piperidin-1-yl]pteridin-7(8H)-one. The reaction of 4-chloro-8-cyclopropyl-6-methoxypteridin-7(8H)-one (0.59 g, 2.33 mmol), 1-piperidin-4-yl-1,3-dihydro-2H-benzimidazol-2-one (0.507 g, 2.33 mmol, triethylamine (0.708 g, 7.99 mmol, 0.98 mL). anhydrous n-butanol (8 mL) at 80° C. for 16 hours gave rise to 0.856 g of 8-cyclopropyl-6-methoxy-4-[4-(2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl)piperidin-1-yl]pteridin-7(8H)-one as a light brown solid, which was used without any further purification.
