Quinoline-4-carbonyl chloride hydrochloride (0.067 g, 0.295 mmol) was added to a mixture of DIPEA (0.160 ml, 0.913 mmol) and (S)-1-((R)-2-aminopropanoyl)pyrrolidine-2-carbonitrile 4-methylbenzenesulfonate (0.100 g, 0.295 mmol) in DCM. After 3 h the mixture was washed with 1N citric acid and saturated sodium bicarbonate and brine. The organic layer was dried sodium sulfate, filtered and purified by column chromatography using a mixture of ethylacetate and methanol as eluents.
