Following a procedure analogous to that for the synthesis of Intermediate 64, indoline-5-sulfonamide (Intermediate 54A, 120 mg, 0.60 mmol) and 2-(phenylthio)acetic acid (117 mg, 0.70 mmol) were converted to the title compound (100 mg, 45%). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 8.09 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.67-7.62 (m, 2H), 7.43-7.40 (m, 2H), 7.34-7.30 (m, 2H), 7.22-7.19 (m, 3H), 4.29 (t, J=8.6 Hz, 2H), 4.17 (s, 2H), 3.23 (t, J=8.5 Hz, 2H); MS(ESI+) m/z 348.9 (M+H)+.
