Reaction Steps
(S)-3-Amino-1-(3-methoxybenzyl)azepan-2-one (175 mg, 0.705 mmol) was synthesized as described for the preparation of Intermediate 42 using 1-(bromomethyl)-3-methoxybenzene in step A. Anal. Calcd. for C14H20N2O2 m/z 248.3. found: 249.3 (M+H)+.
