To a degassed mixture of 6-(2-chloro-4-(cyclopentyloxy)-7-((2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy)methyl)-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-5-yl)-2-methylbenzo[d]oxazole (1 equiv), 4-amino-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-3-methoxybenzamide (1.2 equiv) and cesium carbonate (5 equiv) in 1,4-dioxane (0.14 M) were added palladium acetate (0.1 equiv) and 2,2′-bis-diphenylphosphanyl-[1,1′]binaphthalenyl (0.2 equiv). The mixture was stirred at 120° C. overnight. The reaction was cooled to room temperature and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated and the residue obtained was purified by preparative thin layer chromatography (8% methanol in DCM) to afford the title compound (30% yield). MS (ESI) m/z 673.1 [M+1]+.
