To a solution of tert-butyl 4-(2-fluoro-4-(1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-5-yl)phenyl)-5,6-dihydropyridine-1(2H)-carboxylate (320 mg, 0.814 mmol) in ethyl acetate/methanol 20/20 mL was added palladium hydroxide (160 mg) and stirred under hydrogen atmosphere for 7 days. The catalyst was filtered through celite and the solvent was distilled off to get 320 mg (99.37% yield) of the titled compound. MS: m/z=396.3 (M+1).
