A mixture of 2-[methyl-[(2-methylpropan-2-yl)oxycarbonyl]amino]propanoic acid (34 mg, 0.17 mmol) and N,N′-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (17 mg, 0.08 mmol) in DCM (1 ml) is stirred at RT for 20 minutes. This mixture is added to N-[6-amino-2-(2-phenylethynyl)pyridin-3-yl]oxane-4-carboxamide D5b (28 mg, 0.09 mmol) and DIPEA (17 μl; 0.10 mmol) in DCM (1 ml). After stirring for 6 days at 40° C. the reaction mixture is diluted with DCM and extracted with water. The combined organic layers are dried over MgSO4 to and concentrated in vacuo. The crude product (70 mg) is used in the next step without further purification.
