Reaction Steps

A mixture of compound 6 (130 mg, 0.31 mmol) and Pd (OH)2 (70 mg) in MeOH (20 mL) was stirred at 50° C. under H2 (50 psi) for 4 hours. The mixture was filtrated and the filtrate was concentrated to give 80 mg of (2S,4R)-2-(3,3-difluorocyclohexyl)-4-phenylpiperidine 7 in 92% yields.
