The title compound was prepared using standard chemical manipulations and procedures similar to those used for preparation of methyl 5-(N′-hydroxycarbamimidoyl)-2,4-dimethylbenzoate (compound 2.4) and methyl 5-carbamimidoyl-2,4-dimethylbenzoate hydrochloride (compound 2.5) using methyl 5-cyano-4-cyclobutyl-2-methylbenzoate (compound 152.4) instead of methyl 5-cyano-2,4-dimethylbenzoate (compound 2.3).
