Reaction Steps
A solution of 0.3 g of 2-amino-4-dimethoxymethyl-6-methylpyrimidine in 50 ml of ether was stirred overnight at room temperature with 0.46 g of o-chlorobenzenesulfonyl isocyanate. The product was filtered and washed with hexane to provide 0.5 g of the title compound, m.p. 150°-153°.
