The resultant product (31.0 g) of (1-1) was dissolved in ethyl acetate (100 mL), and a 4 mol/L hydrogen chloride-ethyl acetate solution (22.5 mL) was added dropwise under ice-cooling. Ethanol was further added for dissolution, and the mixture was left standing overnight and the resulting solid was collected by filtration, washed with ethyl acetate, and dried to give the title compound (29.8 g) as white crystals.
