Procedure

1 g of (R)(-)-2-phenyl-aziridine and 1.14 g of imidazole are heated at 120° for 24 hours. After cooling the reaction mixture can be used for the acylating step without further purification. An analytical sample can be obtained by chromatography over silica gel;
