Reaction Steps
A 4N hydrogen chloride solution in dioxane (10 ml) was added to an ethanol solution (5 ml) of (1R*,2S*,4R*)-N2-tert-butoxycarbonyl-N1-[(5-Chloroindol-2-yl)carbonyl]-4-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 12 hours. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure to obtain the title compound (100 mg) as a colorless oil.
