Procedure

(1S,2R,4S)—N2-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)-N1-[(5-chloroindol-2-yl)carbonyl]-4-(N,N-dimethyl-carbamoyl)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine (200 mg) was dissolved in dichloromethane (6 ml), trifluoroacetic acid (2 ml) was added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2.5 hours. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure to obtain (1S,2R,4S)—N1-[(5-chloroindol-2-yl)carbonyl]-4-(N,N-dimethylcarbamoyl)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine trifluoroacetate.

Workup
