Reaction Steps
N-(3-Azido-5-fluoropyridin-2-yl)-2,2-dimethylpropanamide (275 mg, 1.16 mmol) in 3 N HCl (5 mL) was heated to 100° C. After 2 h, the volatiles were removed in vacuo, to give the title compound as its HCl salt (180 mg). MS: m/z=154.2 (M+1).
