To a solution of tert-butyl (8-methyl-2,7-dioxo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-4H-imidazo[1,5,4-fg][1,6]benzodiazocin-1(2H)-yl)acetate from Step A (45 mg, 0.13 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (6 mL) was added TFA (2 mL). After 2 h, the mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound. MS: m/z=290 (M+1).
