127.15 mg (0.525 mmol) of 1b were mixed with 92.16 mg (0.525 mmol) of 1-(4-isothiocyanatophenyl)ethanone, 5 mL of CH2Cl2 and 6.61 mg (0.052 mmol) of DMAP and refluxed under Argon for 72 h. 225a was filtered and purified by crystallization in MeOH to yield 43.3 mg of an off-white solid used in the next step without further purification.
