Hydrogen chloride in 1,4-dioxane (4.0M, 0.50 mL) was added to tert-butyl 8-(methylsulfonyl)-2,8-diazaspiro[4.5]decane-2-carboxylate (21.0 mg, 0.0000659 mol) at rt.
