Procedure

A solution of HCl in dioxane (4.0 M, 22 mL) is added to a solution of (1S,2S,5R)-2-[(5-Bromo-pyrimidin-2-ylamino)-methyl]-3-aza-bicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-3-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (8.67 mmol) in dioxane (20 mL). After 90 min the solvents are removed in vacuo to give a crude product which is used without further purification. LC-MS: tR=0.64 min; [M+H]+=269.0.
