Reaction Steps
4-(4-chloro-phenyl)-3-(4-methyl-benzenesulfonyl)-quinoline (40 mg, 0.102 mmol) was dissolved in ethyl acetate (1.5 ml) and a solution of hydrogen chloride in ethyl acetate (c=1.6M, 0.14 ml, 0.224 mmol) was added dropwise to the solution. The solid was filtered off, washed with ethyl acetate and dried in vacuo to give 35 mg of the title compound in 80% yield.
