Reaction Steps

(2R,3R)-2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-3-(4-nitro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)butan-2-ol obtained in Step 1 (0.2 g, 0.55 mmol) was dissolved in methanol (15 mL) and 5% palladium on charcoal (5% Pd/C, 0.02 g) was added thereto, and the resulting mixture was stirred for 4 hours under a hydrogen atmosphere. The reaction solution was filtered through celite and the filtrate was concentrated by evaporation under a reduced pressure to obtain the title compound (0.16 g, yield 87%).
