To a solution of 4-(5-nitropyridin-2-yl)morpholine (3.89 g, 18.60 mmol) in THF (100 mL) was added catalyst Pd/C (0.5 g). The reaction was stirred at rt under H2 overnight, and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound as a brown-red solid (3.30 g, 99%).
