To a solution of N-((3S,4R)-4-((6-(2,6-dichloro-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)quinazolin-2-yl)amino)pyrrolidin-3-yl)acrylamide (0.37 g, 0.76 mmol) in dichloromethane (15 mL) at 0° C. was added DIEA (0.16 mL, 0.92 mmol) and acetyl chloride (0.054 mL, 0.76 mmol) and the reaction was stirred for 60 mins. LC-MS indicated complete consumption of SM. The reaction mixture was purified by silica gel chromatography to yield N-((3S,4R)-1-acetyl-4-((6-(2,6-dichloro-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)quinazolin-2-yl)amino)pyrrolidin-3-yl)acrylamide (0.207 g, 51%). MS (ES+) C25H25Cl2N5O4 requires: 529, found: 530.
