Procedure

Starting from 2-ethyl-7-methoxyfuro[2,3-c]pyridine-4-carboxylic acid 4-nitrophenyl ester (100 mg) and 5-amino-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitrile (71 mg). Purification by column chromatography on silica eluting with 50% hexane in ethyl acetate followed by trituration with ether gave the title compound (17 mg) as a white solid.

Workup

  1. customPurification by column chromatography on silica eluting with 50% hexane in ethyl acetate
