Procedure
4.0 g of 4N-benzyl-2-chloro-5-nitropyrimidineamine (Reference Example 2) was added to a solution of 3.0 g of 1H-tetrazole in 120 ml of acetonitrile. A mixture of 2.5 ml of triethylamine and 45 ml of acetonitrile was added dropwise to the solution. The reaction solution was stirred overnight and was cencentrated under reduced pressure to obtain solid. The resulting solid was suspended in 3N sodium hydroxide solution for 1 hour, filtered and dried to obtain 3.80 g of the title compound.
