210 mg (431 μmol) of tert-butyl 2-[4-(5-chloro-2-cyanophenyl)-5-methoxy-2-oxopyridin-1(2H)-yl]-3-(4-methyltetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)propanoate (racemate) in 4.3 ml of dichloromethane and 598 μl (7.76 mmol) of TFA were reacted according to General Method 6A. Yield: 210 mg (purity 83%, 94% of theory)
