A mixture of Example 1 (70.28 mg, 0.15 mmol) in ethyl formate (1 mL) in a sealed tube was heated at 70° C. overnight. After cooling to rt, the mixture was concentrated and purified by CombiFlash (eluent: 8% methanol in DCM) gave the product as a yellowish gel. 1H-NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 1.50-1.97 (m, 5H), 2.28 (br. s., 1H), 2.72 (br. s., 1H), 2.92-3.51 (m, 11H), 3.59-4.16 (m, 8H), 4.61-5.02 (m, 2H), 7.70 (br. s., 1H), 8.08-8.24 (m, 1H), 8.73 (br. s., 1H); LC/MS: C24H31F3N4O4: m/z 497.2 (M+H).
