To a solution of tert-butyl 3-(cyanomethyl)-3-[4-(1-{[2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy]methyl}-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-4-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]azetidine-1-carboxylate (1.6 g) in methylene chloride (10 mL) was added a solution of 4.0 M of hydrogen chloride in dioxane (20 mL). The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. Then it was concentrated under reduced pressure to afford the desired compound as HCl salt (1.5 g). LCMS (M+H)+: m/z=409.2.
