To a solution of compound 47(827 mg, 0.87 mmol) in THF (4.0 mL) was added dropwise tetra-n-butylammonium fluoride (1.0M in THF, 2.17 mL, 2.17 mmol) at 0° C. After being stirred for 2 hours at room temperature, the mixture was partitioned between EtOAc and water. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to provide the product 48 (578 mg, 93%) as a white solid.
