To a solution of compound 6 (650 mg, 1.14 mmol) in MeOH (30 mL) was added Pd(OH)2/C (120 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred under 50 psi of hydrogen at 70° C. until LC-MS showed that the starting material was almost consumed. The suspension was filtered through celite and washed with MeOH (20 mL×2) and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to afford compound 7 (410 mg, 85% yield) as a white solid. LC-MS: m/z 251.3 [M+H]+.
