Procedure

2M Ammonia (25.6 mL, 51.2 mmol) was added to Benzyl 2,4-difluoro-5-nitro-benzoate in 200 mL THF at 0° C. and the mixture stirred for 16 h at ambient temperature. Then 100 mL water were added, the preticipate was filtered off, washed with water and dried at 60° C.
