A degassed mixture of (6-chloro-pyrimidin-4-yl)-pyridin-4-ylmethyl-amine (500 g, 2.27 mmol), 2-nitroaniline (317 g, 2.3 mmol), Pd2(dba)3 (200 g, 0.22 mmol), Xantphos (253 g, 0.44 mmol) and Cs2CO3 (1.48 g, 9.35 mmol) in toluene (10 mL) was heated at 100° C. for 3 hours. The reaction was concentrated, and the residue was purified by reverse phase chromatography followed by flash chromatography on silica to obtain the title compound (330 mg, yield: 45%). MS (ESI): 323 [M+H]+.
