Reaction Steps
2.3 g (22 mmol) of triethylamine were added to a solution of 3 g (10 mmol) of 3-(3-amino-4-chlorophenyl)-4-chloro-5-difluoromethoxy-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole in 50 ml of dichloromethane. 2.5 g (21 mmol) of methanesulfonyl chloride were added dropwise to this mixture at 0° C. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours and then washed with water. The organic phase was subsequently dried over magnesium sulfate and concentrated. The solid product was washed with a little diethyl ether. Yield: 3.1 g.
