Reaction Steps
A CH2Cl2 solution (20 mL) of 31-4 (220 mg, 0.4 mmol) and TFA (5 mL) was stirred under ambient conditions for 5 h and concentrated. Flash chromatography (silica 9:0.5:0.5, EtOH/H2O/NH4OH) gave 31-5 as a solid.
