Reaction Steps
A CH2Cl2 solution (20 mL) of 36-7 (580 mg, 0.97 mmol) and TFA (5 mL) was stirred under ambient conditions for 2 h and at 50° C. for 2 h. Concentration and flash chromatography (silica, 9:0.5:0.5 EtOH/H2O/NH4OH) gave 36-8 as a pale yellow solid.
