N-(2-(5-chloro-7-fluoro-2-(triethylsilyl)-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl)-5-(2,5-difluorobenzyl)isoxazole-3-carboxamide (0.050 g; 0.092 mmol) was dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL) and stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The solution was concentrated under reduced pressure and the crude mixture was purified by flash chromatography on silica (eluent 20 to 100% ethyl acetate in heptane) to yield 0.005 g (12%) of N-(2-(5-chloro-7-fluoro-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl)-5-(2,5-difluorobenzyl)isoxazole-3-carboxamide as a white solid.
