To the solution of tert-butyl 2-(2-fluoro-5-methyl-4-(2-methylpyridin-4-yl)phenyl)acetate 191-5 (80 mg, 0.37 mmol) in DCM (2 mL) was added TFA (2 mL). The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The solvent and TFA was removed by rotary evaporation to give 2-(2-fluoro-5-methyl-4-(2-methylpyridin-4-yl)phenyl)acetic acid 191-6. The product was used for next step without further purification.
